TBS6925 DVBS2 GoldCode support now............

Hi All

Good news that TBS6925 can lock DVBS2 GoldCode Transponder now.Here is the new driver and
TBSRecorder.If in your place has GoldCode Transponder,Please have a try with the new driver
and new tool,And send your test report here.

After enter the GoldCode, Please press set button to send the GoldCode to TBS6925,Then Press Lock TP.

If all is ok,We will release it .

Now works (Successful set the GoldCode!)

By saying GoldCode You mean PLS (Physical Layer Scrambling) with Gold mode? There are aso two other modes (Root and Combo) and to get this complete - there should be also way to select PLS type (Root, Gold or Combo). Now it looks like it support only PLS in Gold type (no Root and no Combo modes).

Root type can be seen at 13°E (italian transmissions from 11,432V and 12,539H), RootCode is "8" for them, at this moment both doesn't work (code set, but no signal).

PS: For other users: be aware that if You set GoldCode to other value than "0" - all DVB-S2 signals won't be receiverable (only that one with GoldCode that You selected will work and all other that use the same code). You need to set GoldCode back to "0" to lock normal DVB-S2 transmissions.

PS: Would be possible to publish 1.0.1.18 drivers also in "fast" version (it is now "slow" release, I mean discussion from here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1378&start=10 ). It would be nice (if it is possible) if You could release two driver versions - 1.0.1.18 slow and 1.0.1.18 fast

The GoldCode is the PLS (Physical Layer Scrambling) with Gold mode.

It is just a DVBS2 parameters,as you can see here:

Kosio have checked this ,which can be locked with TBS6925.

Yea,Forget to say this,but when you exit TBSRecorder ,it will auto set the GoldCode to "0",So next time normal use is ok.

Thanks for confirming, great news that now it is available also by drivers Any chances for Root & Combo mode beside Gold in future? Combo is probably not used at this moment, but Root is pretty popular in Europe And are there any chances for faster drivers beside slower version?

..hmm, this has been implemented long time by @crazycat in his Crazsyscan. The TBS tools are rather useless in my opinion.

Of course PLS is available in CrazyScan but thanks to adding this into driver in can be easier accessible by authors of DVB apps. The only way to use PLS at this moment is to do some low level magic or use StreamReader.dll from crazycat. After adding PLS control into driver any DVB app will be able to select PLS without StreamReader.dll or device hacking... Now only add Root & Combo, update SDK and any DVB app will able to support PLS Definetely step in good direction
