Problems with all HD streams

Postby SirDester » Tue Mar 05, 2013 6:44 am

Hi all,
I just bought this card (PCIe DVB-S2 Dual Tuner card TBS6981) a few days ago, but I have serious problems making it works.

System Specs (relevant data):

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650,
4GB ram,
600W Power Supply
Geforce GTX 560Ti

After installing and configuring the drivers on Windows 7 Ultimate I tried using my DVB Recording Service to tune SD and HD channels (it's already configured, and fully working, with my current USB Technisat Skystar USB2 HD CI).

While the SD channels are quite ok, ALL the HD streams are totally screwed. It starts with a few frames (some seconds, more or less), than the data flow stops.

I checked the dataflow on every HD tranasponder (Hotbird 13E) with Transedit from DVBViewer package.
In the screenshot (http://tinyurl.com/cph5kl3) you can see the results. All the packets are "missing" packets. Sometimes Transedit can't even find PMT and PAT packets, and sign all the channels as "Service XXXX".

I tried changing every PCI-Ex I have in my system.
I tried connecting or not connecting the 3-molex to 6pin power adapter.
I tried both the tuner A and B.
I tried the same card on another PC (with a 500W Enermax modular Power Supply but with ONLY 1 hardisk connected, video card and the sat card).

Always the same results. I can't tune in no way the HD channels.

Can you direct me to what I can also check, before saying that the card is broken (and return it to amazon before 1 month) ?

Thanks in advance for all the help.
Regards.

Thanks anyway, but the product was returned to Amazon to get my money back.
