All of the Freeview high-definition channels occupy a DVB-T2 MUX, which contains no other channels. I believe that most (and possibly all) of the standard-definition BBC channels occupy a MUX of their own. Therefore, if the only channels that you are not receiving are the standard-definition BBC channels, it suggests that it is that single DVB-T BBC MUX that you are having problems receiving.

The first thing that you should try is to rescan for all channels in Media Center. Channels and MUXes have been moving around the broadcast spectrum during 2012, and you may have been affected by a recent change.

If that does not solve your problem, you should check that you have your aerial pointed in the direction appropriate for your location; you may have your aerial pointed at the wrong transmitter.

If the aerial direction looks satisfactory, it is possible that you have a "tuned" aerial that has poor reception at the frequency of the SD BBC MUX. Aerials belong to groups (A,B,C,D) that indicate the frequency range for which they were designed. It is possible that (say) your aerial is group B, but the transmitters are now broadcasting in group A. Your group B aerial would still receive the group A transmissions, but at a much lower signal strength, possibly too low for the BBC MUX. It is possible to get a wideband aerial (group W) that receives all groups A to D, but at a slightly lower signal strength (there is no free lunch).
