TBS6280 - Result Scan Channel No Programs

Postby hurricanedavid » Thu Sep 20, 2012 2:34 pm

Hi
I'm David and I'm Italian. First of all, thank you for activating my account. I bought a TBS6280 Dual Tuner PCIe Card and I tested it on 2 configuration
1. Motherboard AsRock H61M/U3S3; CPU Intel Celeron Dual Core G540; OS Windows 8 RTM; logarithmic antenna on the roof personale, not centralized
2. Motherboard Asus P8H61 EVO; CPU Intel Core i5-2500 @ 3.30 GHz; OS Windows 7 Professional; portable antenna found in the package of tuner
in both cases I have same problem with TBSViewer and WCE: Result of Scan Channel is "0 channels found".
Can you help me?
How can I exclude that it's defective?

Forgive my poor English

Hi David

First ,you need to make sure that your DVB-T/T2's signal is ok.
Second,Do you have input the right setting to scan.
Third,Can you use our latest OEM-DVBDream to have a test too.

Kind Regards

steven

So...
I have installed DVB Dream v1.7c OEM and the following is a print screen
Image
I'm not sure that my DVB-T/T2's signal is ok, how can I test it?
The only thing I can tell you that the antenna is connected to tuner and the tuner has been recognized and installed on OS with the latest drivers (1.0.0.8 - 24/07/2012 - TBSDTV TECHNOLOGY)
thanks for your attention Steven. I look forward

Kind Regards

David

Hi David

What about your setting of your Bandwidth value ,do you have inputted the right value.
If you do not mind ,can you tell us where is your location?
So we can find your DVB-T/T2 environment detail information.

Other things is that do you have any other DVB-T/T2 device to check the signal?

Kind Regards

Hi Steven

sorry, but i don't understend where I set Bandwidth value.
I live in Palermo (Sicily - Italy) and the switch off of analog signal is already been completed.
I checked the DVB-T signal at home, where i tested the TBS6280 on following configuration,

whith a Full HDTV 23" Philips that has an integrated DVB-T tuner and this works perfectly.

Kind Regards
