New install - Unconnected?

Hi all, my first post here.

I've installed a TBS6981 and MythTv on Ubuntu 12.04.

Linux can see the card OK and MythTv shows DV0 and DV1 under capture cards, but with the sat lnb connected they show as unconnected, should they show as connected or is there more fiddling to do? I'm a little confused at this stage, any help would be appreciated.

Hi rsandr

Do you have configed the LNB right?or can you use szap or DVBLast to check the signal is ok?
You can test TBS6981 in Windows too, just check the card is ok.
