But what a disappointment. The tool won't finish any scan and has to be aborted manually without results. After a 2nd try a diseqc error is reported. Finally, closing the tool will cause a BSOD. What a crap!!

Derrick Wrote:with 1.0.0.4 the tool is stable. But that's all what I can say. 22khz and diseqc are not working.
Is it possible to add the debug feature to the new driver(s)?
btw.
none of the other performance problems have been solved yet..
Derrick Wrote:1.0.0.5 doesn't work either. Still no high band (22khz) and no diseqc..
Geezerjem Wrote:I made my first post about the blindscan tool not working on the 13th of January this year. Now four months later I have tried 3.0.0.2 and although it's better i.e. gives the correct frequencies when not using the 22KHz High Band it is still woefully inadequate. Even when it found a BIG signal on 37.5W at 11683 V SR 8700 and DVB-S2 FEC 3/4, the .INI file generated was:
;file generated by TBS Card - http://www.tbsdtv.com
[SATTYPE]
1=TBS
2=TBS
[DVB]
0=1
1=11683,V,8700
It doesn't contain the S2 information, or the FEC.and
again.
I state again that the reason I bought this card over others was the well publicised BlindScan facility. It still does not work. Please sort it out.
By the way, it sure looks like the hardware side of the company has a healthy budget as there have been several new cards relased since January. Cody, I'm sorry the software department is not budgeted to the same level. Get your boss to explain why please, because I (and others) would like an explanation from them as to why promised things aren't happening.
