TBS 5680 OSCAM few questions.
Posted: Thu Feb 07, 2013 12:51 amHi, I recently bought the TBS5680 DVBC Tuner and I'm very happy with it but I have two questions/problems with it.
1. Is there any way to compile the drivers without IR(remote) support because when I compile and install the drviers on my x86 Ubuntu 12.04 it seems that some changes are made in /lib/modules/3.5.0-21-generic/kernel/drivers/media/rc and my serial remote receiver stops working.
2. I have CAM Module from my local Cable TV company and I'm paying for some scrambled channels, but I haven't manage to make it work on my Linux HTPC with the TBS5680. For backedn I'm using Tvheadend and evrything is OK with the free (no scrambled) channels. I read another theart in this forum that I must use OSCAM. But I can't figureout how to configure the OSCAM and Tvheadend so far. Can you please send me the instructions on PM. If you need some logs from my system tell me witch one, or if I missed something that is needed for you please tell me and I'll provide it.
