Red light the whole time

Dear all,

I purchased the TBS TBS5680 DVB-C Single in Germany last week. I bought it for my Synology NAS 112j as it is compatible with DVBLink software.

But the TBS it is not found by NAS. So I tried to connect it to my PC, which works, the USB device is detected. But no channels are found in Scan. The TBS5680 has a red led the whole time. I could not find any information what that red light means. But the PC software tells me that it has only 1% signal strength. Well, if I connect the same Cable directly to my Samsung LED TV with DVB-C tuner it works perfectly. So I guess that the signal should be there.

So, what should I do. Could it be that the TBS5680 is not working properly, or am I doing anything wrong...

Hi Austin

Would you mind having a try with our OEM-DVBDream in your PC to have a check with TBS5680?

Yes I would try that, what do I have to do?

I tried it with TBS viewer and will install DVB dream this evening when I am at home again.

Hello Steven,
I use the TBS5680 in combination with the DS214play NAS.
The connection is made with the front USB connection of the NAS.
However I get a red light all the time.
What is wrong with the connection ?
