TBS6284 on ASROCK C2750D4I

Hi,
has anyone tried this DVB-T2 card on the ASROCK C2750D4I motherboard?
It works well in two other motherboards I have, but it is not detected (in Windows or Linux) on the above motherboard.

I am concerned that the mobo may have the PCI-e transfer link speed issue that appears to affect some people.

Hi karl

TBS6284 is using pci-e 1.0a ,maybe the board ASROCK C2750D4I have not added pci-e 1.0a support ,please have a try update the BIOS to latest version
and send the PCI-E link speed to Gen1.

Thanks

Kind Regards

steven

Hi Steven,
Thanks for the reply, that was the assumption I had come to after reading about similar "non-detect" issues with the card on other motherboards.
I looked for an option in the BIOS to switch to the slower speed bus, but none exist, so I sent a mail to ASROCK support.

I have had a reply from ASROCK RACK incoportation support that they have replicated the issue and are now trying to fix it.

I will update here when I get more information

Karl :)

ASROCK support are saying the C2750/C2550 chipset is to blame and no BIOS update will be available.

I have responded with a link to the Intel data sheet stating that 2.5GTs is supported.
Sadly I think that this is not going to be resolved.

@TBS do your later quad tuners use the same PCIe interface?
