Has anyone been able to make the cardreader in TBS6928 wo work with OSCAM or any other software cam compatible with tvheadend?

I do not want to share channels, just watch them. I've got an paid subscription and was planning to use the the 6928 and tvheadend on a linux box with my xbmc-based media center. Problem is that tvheadend does not support hardware CAMs so I thought I'd work around it with OSCAM or anything else that might work with the card reader on the 6928.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to proceed? No success with OSCAM so far.

We have tested OSCAM with TVHeadend ,and it works ok, but it is not very easy,the configuration is very complex.

I have the same issues: a tbs 6928, xbmc with tvheadend. Could you please send me this infos per PM about OSCAM too? My SKY Channels do not want to work (I think they hate me )

Hi TBS Team.

I'm using your card TBS6928 with yaVDR 0.5 and a standard Telenor Conax CAM. The distribution is based on Ubuntu 12.04. VDR implements the upper layers of a CAM and relies on the SW drivers to access the CAMs.
My VDR konfiguration will read access a VIACESS CAM but not my the Telenor CAM.
The Telenor CAM with my Canal Digital Nordic Card is working with the Windows Drivers of the TBS6829.

Motivated through this thread, I have compiled und installed OSCAM on my Ubuntu 12.04.

1. Could you please provide me the OSCAM.SERVER reader settings. I have compiled OSCAM with webif and USB Reader support. To access the TBS6928, which additional compiler settings for OSCAM do I need ?

2. If the Telenor Conax CAM is not support with your current LinuxDriver, which CONAX CAM is ? Please provide vendor and card details.

I have exactly the same question. Getting the cam to work in tvheadend through oscam so we can use xbmc for live tv would be awesome. Could you please provide the working oscam config?
