Postby seedvb » Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:42 am

I have the TBS6928 and I it works fine.
But the IR-Receiver don' t work. I habe tested many rouls in /etc/udev/roules.d/..., but I don't know, how the syntax is for the IR-Receiver.
Or witch is the fault?
Works the IR-Receiver in Linux?

Can you run
cat /proc/bus/input/devices

and see if you have something as
Code: Select All Code
I: Bus=0001 Vendor=6920 Product=8888 Version=0001
N: Name="cx23885 IR (TurboSight TBS 6920)"
P: Phys=pci-0000:03:00.0/ir0
S: Sysfs=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:06.0/0000:03:00.0/rc/rc1/input9
U: Uniq=
H: Handlers=kbd event9
B: PROP=0
B: EV=100013
B: KEY=3000000100c0000 34301100000000 0 100000 408000000800 8e168000000000 ffc
B: MSC=10

I: Bus=0000 Vendor=0000 Product=0000 Version=0000
N: Name="MCE IR Keyboard/Mouse (cx23885)"
P: Phys=/input0
S: Sysfs=/devices/virtual/input/input10
U: Uniq=
H: Handlers=sysrq kbd mouse3 event10
B: PROP=0
B: EV=100017
B: KEY=30000 7 ff87207ac14057ff febeffdfffefffff fffffffffffffffe
B: REL=3
B: MSC=10

If yes, there is the remote; if not... I don't know...

hi,

can you run:
Code: Select All Code
evtest /dev/input/event5

...and press some buttons on the remote

i guess that's your input device, and mine is broken, because nothing happens :(

Code: Select All Code
root@dvb:~# evtest /dev/input/event5
Input driver version is 1.0.1
Input device ID: bus 0x19 vendor 0x0 product 0x6 version 0x0
Input device name: "Video Bus"
Supported events:
  Event type 0 (EV_SYN)
  Event type 1 (EV_KEY)
    Event code 224 (KEY_BRIGHTNESSDOWN)
    Event code 225 (KEY_BRIGHTNESSUP)
    Event code 227 (KEY_SWITCHVIDEOMODE)
    Event code 241 (KEY_VIDEO_NEXT)
    Event code 242 (KEY_VIDEO_PREV)
    Event code 243 (KEY_BRIGHTNESS_CYCLE)
    Event code 244 (KEY_BRIGHTNESS_ZERO)
    Event code 245 (KEY_DISPLAY_OFF)
Testing ... (interrupt to exit)
