I have an HTPC running a 6981 satellite card controlled by a Hama/Gmyle MCE remote and using WMC. I am thinking of adding a Freeview 6280 card to provide greater flexibility. I cannot work out how the one Hama/Gmyle remote could control both cards and would rather not have yet another remote. I did try a One For All URC 7960 universal remote a while ago but could not even get it to recognise the 6981.

Grateful for any suggestions.

The remote doesn't control the card, it controls the user software. It's up to the software how it uses the second card
