Media Center 7 problems...

Hello

I've been playing around for a couple of days with the TBS6280 and Windows 7 (64x) Media Center. Selecting certain channels from the guide (ITV1, BBC HD, Channel 4 HD) make MC come up with the 'no tv signal' error. BBC 1 and 2 play with no problems.

Viewing these channels in DVBDream, there is no problems. I am in the UK.

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas!

Matt

See my other post on here re: 166Khz (166.66 actually) offsets.
If you do edit channel > edit sources I bet you'll have 6 sources with 2 ticked.
You need to check the frequency of the ticked ones, 1 frequency will be a centre one ie: 494Mhz, then you'll have one saying 493.833Mhz & the other 494.167Mhz.

Go to the Digital UK website & look up your transmitter.

http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/postcodechecker/ tick the box that says "I'm in the aerial trade"

I'm on Nottingham, the channel listing for that is:

21+,24,27,48,51 & 52

Note the '+' sign after 21, this means it's using a +166Khz offset, so in media center it should be tuned to 494.166Mhz, not the centre 494Mhz.

Problem is MC doesn't seem to have a clue which sources to select & often gets wrong the wrong ones.

For example, I've just retuned, lets have a look at quest on channel 38:

6 sources with the wrong ones selected. The only solution I can see is to go through each channel & manually correct them. :x
