TBS6280 in a passively cooled case?

TBS6280 in a passively cooled case?

Postby omenatalo » Tue Mar 12, 2013 6:04 pm

I'm thinking about an HTPC build with the HDPLEX H5.S. This case is passively cooled and has no fans, but does have vent grills above and below the expansion slot where the TBS6280 would go.

On their website, HDPLEX show a build with tuner card with fan fitted underneath, but that seems to defeat the point of a passive case somewhat!

Does anyone here have experience of using this card in a passive case?

TBS staff, I have heard that tuner cards can get very hot. What would you recommend?
