Help with XP please

Hi, I am new to the forum and would appreciate any guidance on one issue I can not fix.

I have a Dual boot, Xp and W7, system. I have installed the TBS6280 and the S/W in under both XP and W7 the odd issue I have is that using TBS Viewer in W7 I can watch and record both SD and HD TV but in XP I can only watch and record in SD. The HD channels are listed in the guide but when I select any of them the programme appears to show the start up screen for the channel but then crashes with the normal 'send report to Microsoft' message.

I have deleted and reinstalled the S/W to no avail.

Any pointers much appreciated

Would you mind using other Decoder to have a test ,and you can use
another player to have a test too, such as DVBDream ,This maybe your
decoder's problem.

Thanks for the reply -sorry for the delay but have been away over the weekend.

Not sure what you mean by 'use another decoder'?

Have loaded DVBDream and followed the manual to set up and scan. All the channels appear to have been found and listed but I get a message saying 'can not create Video Codec' and though the channels are listed none will play.

Any advice on the way forward appreciated

The decoder is the Video decoder such as ffdshow you can have a search with ffdshow in google.
