intermittent working with Win 7, MSI motherboard

H there
I have recently purchased one of these cards, and am having problems getting it up and running. Some times it works OK, but mostly it doesn't.

If I remove the card and refit it, the card is usually seen in device manager, but will generally require me to rescan the channels in WMC to get it working there. Usually when I restart the machine, the card is no longer even seen in device manager. I have tried tweaking most of my bios settings, but can't find anything to get it to work.

My motherboard is an MSI 880GMA-E35 (FX).

Any help to get this card working would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tipperary

For your problem would you mind having a update of your BIOS first.
and can you use other PCI-e slot to have a test.

Thanks

Hi

impressed with the fast response, especially on a Sunday!

I had tried updating the latest BIOS firmware, but no difference. Using the other slot similarly doesn't make any difference :(
Is there anything else I should try?

Hi there. I don't have a graphics card - using the integrated graphics. I uninstalled nero, and things are a bit better. Still sometimes find the tuner is not found, but not as often as before.

Hi

Sorry for the delay reply.
Would you mind disconnect the cable which connected to TBS6920 before Power on your PC.
And have a test again.

Best regards
