What is the max amount of wattage the TBS 6920 consumes? Thanks.

that depends on the LNB and if there is motor installed or no. LNB output is graded officially that is provides maximum of 450 mA current and can go up to 650 mA unofficially without a risk for burning something. usually, motor maximum consumption is 350 mA and most single LNBs are less than 100 mA and so in that case maximum that the LNB and motor will require is 0.450 A * 18 V = 8.1 W. of course, PCI-Express chip on the card and DVB-S2 tuner and demodulator consumes several Watts too, but roughly i believe in the worse case total consumption is not more than 10-15 W. if you need some exact number i can check datasheets of all chips and sum up their power consumption.

I was considering buying the 6925 when it becomes available for sale and using it with my tbs6920. I just wanted to know if my power supply could handle both cards or if I would need to upgrade it. No motor. LNB is 150ma. What power does the dvb cards consume? 12v, 3.3v, 5v?

Power supply is 400watts.
+3.3v 20A max
+5v 20A max
+12v 30A max
-12v 0.8A max
+5Vsb 2.5A max

i understand, i will consult with hardware engineer and let you know - it's not an urgent matter, because TBS 6925 is still not available on the market and so we have time to calculate maximum power consumption of both cards.
