problem in first day !!

hi i bought a QBOX 6920 yesterday and when i connect it to PC for first time it installed good but when i restart the computer or shutdown it , windows cannot recognize it i change windows several times , tried new driver , change slot .... help me please ...

my problem in windows XP solved when i update mainboard bios but in windows 7 my system after restart cannot recognize DVB card...

all points to hardware incompatibility with your motherboard, including the fact that BIOS upgrade helped for WinXP. so, you can try your 6920 card in other motherboard and i'm quite sure it will work. unfortunately, we can't do much about it and you should ask your motherboard manufacturer for technical assistance and help - they should be able to tell you why PCI-Express slot on their motherboard is not functioning in such unexpected way.

yes, it's not something usual and 6920 works on any other motherboard and so it has to be something on the Biostar motherboard that triggers the problem - their support probably can suggest something. in any case we're here if we can help with something more, e.g. based on what Biostar support suggested.
