Two of these, both diferent symptoms

Hey guys,

just got two of these on to my Octo-LNB to complement my two Hauppage DVB-S2's.

1 - first, both power supplies make a high pitch noise, this is very off putting and a little worrying, is this ok?
2 - Both get a 75% quality signal compared to my Hauppage on the same cable which pull in 95% cable. I don't seem to pick up all the channels as the Hauppage do with the same cable. Any ideas?

3 - ONE of the units flashes the power light and the power adapter LED as soon as I plug a satelite cable in to it, it can be any of the 4 cables I have. Any ideas?

Sorry, additional. I'm using TVSource and actually, the "signal quality" can be as low as 50-60%.

Windows 7 64bit.

ARgh!? I don't even know if i've posted in the right forum..... I have Q Box USB S2 (I think its second generation)
