Hi All!,

I have the TBS5922 box i have it jacked in to a dish that my freesat box says that it has 70% signal strength and 100% signal quality but my computer states that it has 60% on both and picks up no channels...

any ideas?

Hi again,

figured it.... well part of it, I let windows pick the driver dumb mistake!

but now DVB Dream reports a level of 99% and a quality of 54% whats going on?

any further ideas?

This is a Driver issue. When i received my Card , i installed the Latest drivers from TBS Website (V2.0.1.3). Signal Level : 99% Signal Quality : 66% (usual channels).
After the problems with Media Center i installed the Drivers on the CD (That came with the Box) it was V2.0.1.0. Signal Level 99% Signal Quality : 86% (Same channels) , but this version (V2.0.1.0) has some issues with Low Symbol rate transponders (when you scan on a Low Symbol rate transponder , it shows nothing and after that the box doesn't Work at all! you have to Power off/on or sometimes you need to restart computer).

I gave up on using this box with media center, but even driver V2.0.1.3 has some issues specially when you switch between satellites. I think the Main problem with box is the DRIVER.

BTW , i'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit - SP1 .

Cool I'll give that a go... I don't have the cd as my cd is for a differnt box and this box is the replacement.

I'll download all the diferant vers of the driver.

Shame that it won't work via media centre as I wanted to use it via my xbox...

I've got a lot more channels now but still no itv / bbc / C4.... mind you are they encripted with videoguard?

I think , but i'm not sure.

Check this Link : http://www.flysat.com/satlist.php
Select your satellite and it will list all available channels with full information (Freq , Symbol rate , Encryption , .. etc)

With the help of your link i've figuered out whats wrong.....
BBC 3 is on 10773 H 22000 5/6 yet when scaning that transponder i get channels from 11623 H 27500 2/3....

although I have no idea how it happens or how to fix it!

I'll try to sort it but any thoughts would very helpful.

Update... I get BBC ITV and the others on tbsviewer but on the usb box the lock led is not lit! this is well confusing!

The funny thing is , Sometime on Powerful Transponders , I have a very good Signal / Quality Levels , Lock Indicator is ON, but there is no Video/Audio . Usually i have to Power off/On the Box to get it to work on those transponders!
