remote control doesnt work?

i cant seem to get my remote working with qbox3.
tbsviewer only lists the keyboard as a remote device, the remote control does not show up and therefore cant be used.
the driver seems to be installed fine for the hdvi device, im on version 1.0.2 which is the only one that works for win7 x64.
Any help would be appreciated.
