HI,
I Have dual channel card TBS6980 running on ubuntu 11.10, i do update ubuntu . i always have a problem with sports channel , the video comes with shadow . i also try the card with windows 7, i got the same problem !! please see the video pic in attachment .
is it from the video codec ? and how to change the video codec in unbuntu ?
please advice ,

If you have the same problem in ubuntu and w7, the proble isn't the codec. See the top-left corner of image. There aren't shadow.
Maybe low resolution in original video.

Well if the video is slow the quality of picture is perfect! But if it is little fast you can notice the shadow .
that;s why the logo quality is very good !!
