Hi, I hope someone can answer this before I make a purchase. I would like to use the 6925 with NPVR (formerly GBPVR) software, when tuning DVB-S2 channels does the 6925 auto detect and set the pilot and rolloff tuning parameters or does it need to be told what to set them to by the tuning string?

I think NPVR only currently supports either Hauppauge pilot and rolloff string settings or auto detect like your other s2 cards.

I don't know if NPVR (GBPVR) requires something in particular, but generally there is no need to set anything else than frequency, polarization, SR, modulation and DVB protocol with the TBS 6925. Depending on the DVB program, you may not even have to set the modulation (QPSK, 8PSK) and the DVB protocol (DVB-S or DVB-S2), the card finds those parameters by itself.

That sounds just the ticket, I'll get my credit card out.
