No Very Low SR Lock with latest Drivers

..got a replacement for my broken 6925 :) After installing the card together with the latest driver I couldn't receive very_low_sr_carriers anymore. In the meantime I'd managed to receive most of these transponders (on 23E and 16E) with my prof7500 and some of them better than with the 6925 ;)

After fiddling with different drivers I found out that the card looses it's low_sr_capabiltity with drivers > 1.0.1.8

anybody who can confirm this?

I just checked and I think you are correct. With 1.0.1.8 I can BS a 740 SR on Galaxy 99W, with the 1.0.1.9 driver, I cannot, tried it several times, same with the 1.0.1.11 driver, no low SR.

I can't verify it here. I checked on 16E (no signal here from Astra 3A to check) and the card can lock those low SR carriers with the 1.0.1.11 version of the driver.

With CrazyScan and TBS6925-Blindscan it can also blind scan the 11070,H,795 carrier (the strange thing is that BLScan does not lock this carrier even though CrazyScan, which uses the same engine, does)

My report was done with the TBS Blind Scan utility only. When using the TBS recorder I can lock the 740 SR with 1.0.1.11 driver.

With the TBS Blindscan too, I wrote it before but I couldn't attach the relevant screenshot (only 3 attachments are permitted per post, and I guess there is a new forum policy against spamming that prevented me to add a new post afterwards),

@sotos65 could you check these frequencies on 16E and identfy the services?

11068H, 334, 1/2 SID 0x53BB (SLAM!FM)
11069H, 334, 1/2, Radio 538 TNZ
11071H, 334, 1/2, SID 0x44DD (BNR)
11072H, 334, 1/2, 100%NL!
11073H, 334, 1/2, ARROW JAZZ!

A lock can happen on the wrong frequency, that's why identification is important

All said scpc carriers lock with Altdvb and Prof7500 :D TBS6925 will lock on some but so far I've never managed to ´get them all..

Can't receive 11068H at all. 11073H also is not lockable, even though AltDVB locks ARROW JAZZ! at 11072H (11072,5) some times. I believe there is need for a smaller step (e.g. 0.1MHz) to facilitate the reception of those transmissions. 1MHz, which is the minimum for most DVB programs and set-top decoders, seems to be quite large. Anyway, this is what I get with AltDVB,

Hi Derrick,

I tried with DVB Dream to receive these small sr and here what I could get with 1.0.1.8 driver:
With the latest driver 1.0.1.11 signal does not enter with low sr!!!Try the previous drivers, so you can scan these can low sr.

@satesco, thx for your tests :)

These very_low_sr_feeds are difficult cos some are spaced <1MHz apart. So far altdvb seems to be the best application.

Your signal is a little bit better than mine ;)
