So I've got my TBS6981 up and running, but it's broken the functionality of my MCE (USB) remote that I normally use to control MythTV / XBMC.

So I've dug around online, and from what I can gather, I need to use the remote that came with the card instead. Fine - it's not as nice but I just want a working remote control.

However it seems that the IR part of the card doesn't work with the 2.6.38 kernel. Is this true? Have I really bought a TV card which kills my remote and can't even provide it's own?

An answer from TBS would be much appreciated.

The problem is real with kernel 2.6.38 and up. There are a topic in this forum about it, I don't remember where... I'm sorry...
