One of the tuners on the first TBS6981 card is not working annymore, could not get lock, on most of the channels (Dutch SD quality channels). Also german free HD channels are not working. BBC channels are working.

I tink it is the card, because after switching with anouther card, there is no problem.

My system is debian linux 64 bit, it always worked, but last week is starts with difficuties to get lock, or the video quality is getting poor.

Is there a way to test the cards? Wat can i do?

Can you post the output of "dmesg" when you try to lock this transponders?

I will do that this evening.

I have to mention that i have also contact with tbs support. If i can't find some logging of the problem, then i send the card to TBS europe.

My experience with TBS support is very positive.

The problem seems to be solved ?? Hopefully it is not temporarily

It is strange, today the tuners was not working again. In previous messages i mentioned that some channels are working, but that is not the case, all channels are not working. But it is not good that the tuner is most of the time not working.
At the moment i have not a replacement, but i will send the faulty card today to tbs europe support.

Today i recieved a new card, and the system works fine with it. Thanks TBS.
My system, actually a TV server, is a computer with 2 TBS6981 cards, with MythTv installed on it.
