USB Bridge?

Very very tempted to buy a 6981 just had one question about the hardware.
I run my TV tuners in a virtualized Ubuntu install, my current tuners are all PCI but with a USB bridge chip that converts the native USB tuners into PCI. ESX sees these tuners as USB tuners and allows me to pass them through to Ubuntu without VT-d.
Just wondering if there's any chance the 6981 uses a USB bridge chip? Or are the tuners native PCIe?
