LNB B exhibits signal problem until system reboot
Posted: Sun Nov 15, 2020 5:22 amMy TBS 6981 card has a weird issue with LNB B where there are continuous continuity errors until the system is rebooted. On a cold boot LNB B will not work and it will appear that the signal is extremely weak or badly grounded. Once the system is rebooted the tuner works and there are no problems. LNB A is unaffected and works every time although I have noticed that tuning to LNB B will sometimes interferes with it causing a momentary signal blip.
Is the card faulty or is this some driver/firmware issue? It will only work after a reboot straight after being powered on. I have tried the card in 3 different computers and all have the same problem and it's also not a problem with the dish/LNB or cable as that has worked fine with other tuners for years.
