LNB power issues - some interfaces output only 5 volts?

Postby CKDewey » Thu Nov 24, 2011 1:47 pm

Greetings,

I have four tbs6981 cards in an HTS Tvheadend server. I have recently discovered that some of the interfaces output only 5 volts. I have checked the ATX power cables going to each card.

All cards output 0 volts until tvheadend starts up, then some interfaces output the proper 13 or 18 volts, and some only 5 volts. On two cards, the top interface outputs 13 volts but the bottom only 5 volts. On another card, both interfaces only output 5 volts.

I have tried to reconfigure the problem interfaces in tvheadend but always get the same result.

The server power supply is 500 watts and the mainboard is an ASUS P8P67 PRO. I am using TurboSight driver version 1.95 on Ubuntu 10.10.

Thanks,

Tom

we answered to your e-mail about the same issue. so, i want to kindly ask you - if you want to discuss the same issue in the forum to write us e-mail just with the forum link to it and then we will reply to you in the forum, otherwise opening forum thread and sending e-mail to us with the same content makes it actually less likely to receive proper support, because it not necessary that the same person read your e-mail, read your posts in the forum too. so, let's keep all the information organized and on the same place. thank you! in other words since we read and replied already your e-mail before we read your forum post it expected the discussion to be continued via e-mails.
