Got my new TBS 6981 card, hoping to get the PBS satellites in the US, in addition to Turbo-8PSK HDTV. I have a couple Genpix tuners and a bunch of standalone DBS PVRs -- so I am not completely clueless. Maybe a little, though.

I am not getting anything during satellite scans except some standard def signals.

• Did I buy the wrong card?
• I own DVBDream. How would I get DVB-S2 with that?
• Should I get something else?

high def doesnt have anything todo with the tuner card, your computer decodes the video, not the tuner. The tuner just receives it.

the card you chose does not support turbo-8psk, you'll hav to stick to genpix devices for that.
