Hi All
I have installed a TBS6981 which seems to have an issue with channels on Eurobird Namely channel in the high band.
I am using Windows media Center Win7 64 bit. (Just reinstalled windows incase this was a problem)
I replaced my old TBS6981 thinking it was a hard ware issue.. but the new one is also having the same problem.
I scoped the LNB cable and cannot see the tone when conected to the cards. However when i connected my TV which has DVB-S2 i could clearly see the tone present.
Any ideas guys ??
Am I missing something ?
Thanks in Advance !

Hi winsox
Would you mind having a test with our latest OEM-DVBream? or TBSViewer?
Is it ok?

Is there any log file or anthing that I can do this end to help u identify it ?
I dont think its hardware and ive replaced the card.. and also this week did a clean install of windows.
Its sods law that the channels i watch are the music ones on 12523 V
Should i be able to see the 22khz on the feed.. ?? I cant...

Hi winsox
Do you have used the signal splitter with TBS6981?
and can you give us a picture about your LNB setting in DVBDream or TBSViewer?
Kind Regard

HI there
I do have a combiner which the UHF sig comes down with.. There are two feeds from Aerial amps which go to two combiners + 2 LNB feeds direct from dish, then two coax cables into lounge which then is split using 2 spliters to give me 2 UHF and 2 SAT feeds into cards in computer.
I have tried direct to LNB and still have this issue ;-(

Do you have a scoped jpg of the 22khz tone which should be seen from the card. maybe the TV set i tried it on has a higher amplitude tone.

Is this problem happened before? or it never worked ok?
and do you mind if we have a remote connect to your PC to have
