Hi,

I bought this card in March and it has developed a fault, when I say i have tried everything, I have:

New power supply
In other computer
Mediaportal, DVBlink, Mediacentre
Windows 8 & Windows 7
encryption & no encryption
various settings inc power saving on pcie
fresh install of whole operating system
possibly more


It freezes and locks up the whole computer

also since installing windows 8 to try and solve the problem I sometimes get error(10) in device manager
pent hours and fortunes trying to solve this! Please Help!! I am fed up and must have spent weeks and fortunes trying to sort this

PLEASE HELP!

does any support actually read this board?

What about It freezes and locks up the whole computer?
Can you give us more information about this.Can you success watch the channel ?
and do you have tried the other decoder to have a test?

What is the decoder test?

basically when the TV card freezes it locks the entire computer and I have to do a hard reset, I debugged everything by removing hardware and software and replicating the process, I got it down to the TV card so to ensure it wasn't a compatibility issue I transferred it to another computer and still it does not function correct.

I am not sure how much I can do, to say ive spent days and tried a LOT of debug tests is an understatement! I could go on forever but it is only when TV is in use and it is only the TV card that is the common denominator, can I do anymore??

I have used

for the record argus
mediaportal
mediacentre with DVBlink

encrypted using oscam (legal subscription)
and unencrypted with no oscam ie free to air

bought new PSU with 6 pin power, tried different RAM, Different GPU, updated bios, drivers, with and without card reader, different OS and all sorts of advisable configs including the media centre weak TV signal fix. Tried different computers to test motherboard conflict

Surely I cannot do anymore I have narrowed it down to this card

The decorder is the Video decoder.such as FFDShow, you can set it in DVBDream Video Setting Dialog.
About the Video freezing most is the Video Decoder's problem.
