Win 7 MC, scheduled recording issue and subtitles on HD

Issue 1:
Have the card about 12 months.
About 6 weeks ago the following started to happen.
Under normal viewing can change channels, no issue.
If watching a channel, can press record and change channel to another with no issue
When a scheduled recording is taking place we cannot change channel, screen goes blank on the other channel and says "service not available".
Also if a scheduled recording is about to start on another channel, Media Centre changes to that channel.
This would seem to indicate that one of the tuners becomes unavailable to Media Centre when scheduled recordings are taking place.
If I stop a recording in progress then I can change channel again fine.
I have tried drivers 2.0.1.5 and 2.0.1.3
Issue 2:
If no subtitles everything is fine.
subtitles on SD channels are fine.
If subtitles are on for HD channels then the picture jumps frames.
PC has quad core i5 with 8gb of RAM and AMD HD4350 card.
Are there any log files I can send you?

Hi gmf
For your first issue:
>About 6 weeks ago the following started to happen.
Is this means that before that ,all is ok ?before that which driver version you are using?
>When a scheduled recording is taking place we cannot change channel, screen goes blank on the other channel and says "service not available".
Also if a scheduled recording is about to start on another channel, Media Centre changes to that channel.
When is problem happen,Would you mind using another Soft to test the other Tuner which is not used by MCE,such as DVBDream.
For your second issue:
This maybe the decoder problem, would you mind using another decoder and have a test again.
Thanks
Kind Regards

Steven,
I was using driver 2.0.1.5 for a few months before the problem happened.
I will try using DVBDream.
How can I tell in Windows Media Centre which tuner is being used?
I do not know how to select another decoder?
The chipset is HD4350 which has hardware mpeg2 and mpeg4 decoder.
I will update the Catalyst driver to the most recent version and let you know the version.
Thanks,
Garvan

Hi gmf

In Windows Media Center Device Config you can see both two tuner, just check one tuner such Tuner A
then you use Tuner B in DVBDream.

Steven,
I installed DVBDream and this is what I found.
Tuner A works fine.
Tuner B shows no or very poor signal.
Swapped cables, with the same result, Tuner A fine, Tuner B no or very poor signal.
Plugged sat cable from tuner B into an older DVB-S card I have and it worked fine.
It would appear that I have a hardware problem in Tuner B
