I've problems with the remote of 6981 on my Windows 7 64-bit System.
I installed only Card Driver 2.0.1.5 and using DVB-Viewer, everything work fine. Aftwerwards I installed IR software V1.0.0.8 but I get two messages. During install "Driver not intended for this plattform", and at the end of installation and after reboot "no TBS product found".
Could someone help me?

IR software only work in our new card which use NXP7160 bridge.

thank you for your advice, but the problem seems to be the TBS6981 VHID Device.
Win7 64-bit show me an unknown device, so I stop at the first step of your description as you can see in the screenshot. If the driver I tried (VHID 1.0.0.8) not works, which can I use to solve the problem with the "unknown device"?

Just have a try like this.
1. Uninstall the TBS6981's driver also the unknown device too.
2.Have a restart of your PC
3.use the setup file install our latest driver.

This should be ok now.

Hi Steven,

I deinstalled the driver, reinstall the last version 2.0.1.5 by setup but is the same problem, the VHID device is still unknown.
tby6981VHID.sys in \system32 is version 1.0.3.0.

May be something with the rest of my hardware or software?
It is asrock z68 pro 3 with i5 and Radeon 6870 on Win7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Would you mind deleting all the driver which is about TBS6981 like this.


And then have a restart.

After restart use the setupfile to install driver.
when install you will see this dialog ,click install


This should be ok now.
