Hi, I have a new TBS6981 tuner running in Windows 7 with media portal. When tuning i get no signal lock on any transponers at all. I also have two TBS 6920 cards in the same machine and if i swap the sat cables over they work fine so i know its not the sat cabling My driver version is 2.0.1.2.
I had a similar problem with a 6981 card where it would only find 1 or 2 transponders in a scan so returned the card but the new replacment card seems worse. Are there any updated drivers or anything that may help as i dont want to go through the return process again?

Do you have used diseqc?and would you mind using our OEM DVBDream to have a test.and send us your test
report here.

Hi thanks i have installed and tried this, when i scan with the 6920 cards if finds 191 channels, but when i scan with the 6981 it will scan and find one transponder out of all of them on Optus D1 then if you scan again it will not find it and will find none.

It seems random but only will find at max one transponder then on a rescan it wont find any.
