Hi,

i want to use my dreambox remote control with mediaportal. i tried winlirc to configure my remote but unfortunately winlirc cant recognize ir reciever (i guess) .

Is there any way to use this build in ir reciever with winlirc? Or some documantetion maybe can help me while searching for a solution in internet.

do you know what kind of codes your dreambox remote control uses - NEC, RC5, RC6, etc?

i know that it support RC5, not support RC6...no idea about NEC or something else. Is built in reciever compatible with RC6? if yes , i ll buy logitech harmony 300 RC for controlling all devices on my living room.

TBS 6981 driver is compatible with NEC codes.
