Combination with TBS6981, Overheating

i'm about to buy a TBS6205 and want to know some details. Is it possible to use this card in the same Windows 7/10 PC where already is a TBS6981(i have read about driver incompatibility issues)? And what about those rumors about overheating of this card? Is that true? Some owners claims the card is nicely cold and some want to cook bacon on it. Some also says it dies in few months of usage.
