Hi,

i have buy a TBS6905 card and it comes with a 12v power cable (yellow & black).
Do i need to plug this additional cable ? (it seems the card is working without).

If someone else was interested answer is : You don't need to use external power cable, if you don't have heavy power consume Dish device.

Usually do not need to use the extra power supply ,just when you connect a big motor the power from PCI-E slot is not enough
then you need to use the extra power .otherwise you do not need to care about this .
