I have a machine with a 6925 card in, which we cant use more than one card, so this 6908 should be a great card BUT

Installing this in a new machine and updating drivers to latest from you

Installing a special dvblast with multistream working

6925 works on 11012/30000

6908 does not

Now running dvblast shows "multistream" as being available on 6925
2015-03-20_08:57:31.85609 debug: using DVB API version 3.0

dvblast with 6908 does not
debug: Frontend "TurboSight TBS 6908 DVBS/S2 frontend" supports:
debug: frequency min: 950000, max: 2150000, stepsize: 1011, tolerance: 5000

debug: FEC_7_8
debug: FEC_AUTO
debug: QPSK
debug: 2G_MODULATION
debug: FE_CAN_RECOVER
debug: delivery systems:
debug: DVBS
debug: DVBS2

So does the 6908 support multistream as it says on your site

Also have you fixed the 6925 problem, you CANNOT have more that one in a pc at once, which limits the work the pc can do

TBS linux drivers not support MIS/PLS for new STV910-based devices (6983,6905,6908,5926)

Only stv090x-based 6925/5925/5980 support MIS/PLS (with my patches for stv090x driver).

I thought MULTISTREAM was MIS

As their spec on http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs6908-professional-dvb-s2-quad-tuner-pcie-card.html says

Main Features:
Quad tuner DVB-S2/S transponders receiving
CCM, VCM, ACM and Multi Input Stream support

and for 6925 http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs6925-dvb-s2-tv-tuner-pcie-card.html

Main Features:
DVB-S2/S Transponders Receiving
CCM, VCM,ACM and Multi Input Stream Support
Generic Stream Mode Support

So to me they are saying MIS IS supported by both cards.

Then better to wait to buy Pro version for MIS ... we can not really tell that all software under windows for SAT ... is quite stable :geek:
