hi
if you update to new tvh version you won't be able to access via web interface (the way you used to set things before ) except using this cmd on telent " tvheadend -C"
why don't you download new image moi pro 1.0.0.8 with latest kernel and Tvh
better than 1.0.0.7 version as far I know
but still you find crashes /hangs the system
I tested 15-20 free to air channels SD ( moi pro+tbs6985 , version 1.0.08 ) but some times still it hangs ! so we have to reboot manually from rear
I don't know who will sort this out !!!
Anyway the latest 1.0.08 image is much better tvh version than the previous ones (less errors)

regards,
alfi

Any to get a new build? The one from the current Image is freezing nearly every 24h for me.

Thanks,
Dan

I've also messaged Steven to see if they can compile 4.0.7 for Moi Pro so hopefully they post it up.

I have freezing / hanging issue. (v1.0.0.8) I have used tvheanend, and also disabled this and used DVBlast. Both do the same (FTA, not decoding anything). So I have to say I think there is more to this than the tvheadend version. More likely a linux / hardware issue :/
When it hangs, the display also stops cycling the display with the tuner numbers, etc..

Mhh, for me just the TVHeadend instance is hanging, a "systemctl restart tvheadend" works for me but should not be needed, actually I cannot see the condition for the hanging so my records are all ruined yet.

I am very disapointed about the software support for this special high-price device, also I am not getting the reason why the version numbers are cut off in the MOI binaries. With that you never have a clue which exact version & patchlevel is currently working so you can check errors on tvheadend side.

I badly hope some kind of package management (opkg with an official package tree) will come but I for the moment the device looks very unfinished from a software perspective to me.

Funny: Just recognized that a new firmware was released today and magically tvheadend has a version number now... :)
