Instal HD in MOI+
Posted: Sun Jul 17, 2016 2:05 amI have a question and need for help to solve. How do I install a 2.5 hard drive in my MOI +? Where do I connect the power? I use 5V or 12V? Thanks for any help

The power pin is near the SATA interface you can use the cable coming from MOI+ .

Posted: Wed Dec 14, 2016 4:09 pmFor some reason i was not able to mount a sata drive with external power on the MOI+..
When i rebooted the MOI the boot process got stuck at 'starting kernal" also after unplugging the sata drive and reboot still the same message appeared.
Next step was to recover the moi by reloading the software and firmware from a usb drive.
I still wanted to use the drive so i formatted the drive on a different device (EXT4). Mounted the drive in a powered external casing and pugged in the usb slot.
On the display of the moi it showed that a SATA drive was mounted

It works fine now.
