Documentation on sleep/resume for Linux

Very simple question: Is there documentation to configure resume from sleep with the TBS6281 IR receiver under Linux 3.2.x?
Meaning, is it possible to do 'wake on remote control'?
Like I push the power button on the remote control to resume from sleep?
I cannot found any clear documentation about this.
