Error Code 5

I have just installed this card and the drivers. DVB Dream gives me an error loading DVB hardware (although the two tuners are listed), while the other software does not return any picture at all. I am running Windows 8.1.
Is there anything I can do to check if the card is functioning correctly? The Device Manager says that it is working properly, but this is not always an accurate reflection.
