Can TBS2925 MOI Smart Box Record Satellite Streams to NAS

I am thinking of getting the TBS2925 MOI Smart Box with the 6909x octatuner card and set it up via TVHeadend to record 8 Channels simultaneous continuously.
Will this system be able to do that?
For example select 8 channels and setup tvheadend to record each channel in one hour segments in order to cover the full 24 hours and set the device to record over the network on a NAS drive
Has this been done before? any other recommendations? Please share your thoughts on the process and if its doable? or if you suggest a different setup
