Dear TBS6285 Users,

Firstly, thank you very much for using TBS6285.
If you are having problems with installing the driver, don’t freak out, just take a few minutes to read the guide below and try:
It might be the hardware ID that you need to re-write with a little help of the tool “SAA71xx_Flash_EEPROM.exe”, which is available to download from:

http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/document/tbs6285/TBS6285_Windows_Driver_ID_Tool_20131121.zip

How to re-write the ID?
1) download the “TBS6285_Windows_Driver_ID_Tool_20131121” from the link above
2) insert your TBS6285 card into the PCIe slot of your PC
3) under Windows system, install the DVB-T/T2 or DVB-C Windows driver from “TBS6285_Windows_Driver_ID_Tool_20131121”, then open the tool “SAA71xx_Flash_EEPROM.exe”, enter “6285” in Vendor ID, and enter “0001” in Board ID, and then click “Write” to complete the change.

If you have any other question or problem, please feel free to contact support<at>tbsdtv<dot>com, thank you for your attention!

Regards

dont know. When I buggered my eeprom on my 6925 (100% my own fault) I just used my buspirate to rewrite it. Took a few seconds.

Ive had a few saa716x devices for quite awhile now and never had an issue with the eeprom getting corrupt in Linux unless it was my own fault.
