I made the bios update of the MSI z170 pc mate motherboard. my TBS6982 TV card did not work, Windows did not see it, I changed the slot and tried the same TV card again with another computer. The old z170a pc mate (bios) version works when installed.

Please have a try set the PCI-E link speed to Gen1 ,for 6982 it is using NXP7160 PCI-E bridge which is PCI-E 1.0a ,some motherborad have not
add 1.0a support in BIOS so need the motherboard to update the BIOS support.

Or you can have a look at our TBS6902 which is using new PCI-E bridge.
