Hello.

I bought 4 x TBS695 tuners and I think I made a big mistake, this is the equipment I have.

1 x Satllite dish
1 x Desktop Pc running ubuntu
4 x Tbs6985 Tuners
1 x Canal digital card paid for subscription that uses conax.

From what I have been reading I think I can not use a conax card on a destop pc as there is no hardware that can be installed in the desktop pc that can be used with the conax card and the TBS6985.

As I cannot use the card and I have all these tuners i have been reading for some othr options that may help, but im not to sure if it will work as I am new to all of this.

1 : Now is it possible to install oscam/cccam on ubuntu and use a cline? would this way work with the tuners to watch decrypted channels?
2 : Also is there any other way I can use my conax card and watch the tv channels through the tuners.

If there is any hardware or software that would work can you please point me in the right direction, I would hate to have wasted so much money. I am not asking on how to install, just the tools I would need to make it work.

i have 2x 6985 in Linux and running Conax card over Oscam software Decrypter

running flawlessly and nothing issue { uptime 36days + }

Sorry if they are stupic questions but as I say I am new to all of this.

1 : If i had a ccline is it possible to use oscam/cccam software with out a card by just adding the Cline?
2 : What hardware would I need to connect the Conax card to my Desktop pc.
3 : after reboot cccam can not connect after typeing x.x.x.x:16001 - I have changed the listen port and also run this command
apt-get install libssl0.9.8 but still on reboot it can not connect. Any ideas?

cccam lines as readers in oscam is the only way to make it work.

as hardware the only stuff which can be used for connax CI cam modules is the FLEX CI from Digital Devices

post here please your oscam config without real values in order to help you out with the correct settings.

Ok i am also new to linux so I am having a very hard time getting to grips with everything at once.
I will have to read up on getting the log file..

So if i want to use a ccline with tbs6985 tuners all i need is oscam installed?
Do i also need the cccam installed?
Also I tried adding the ccline in readers i get status off?

I will try and get back to you with some log files.
All i am trying to do at the moment is be able to watch the decrypted channels with my test ccline.
The annoying thimg is I bet its about 15 mins work when you know how and not 2 days with no sleep.

Ok update to mu own post I seem to have got the ccline working my mitake i put the cline for example like this.

testcline 4000

it should have been

testcline,4000

my question now is i am useing the tbs6985 and dvblast to stream when i open the stream to vlc, vlc is just a black screen does something else need to be done?

Ok i will go into a little more details with what equipment i have and what i want to do, please let me know whet is possible and the best way.

1 x Sat dish pointing to the Norwegian satellite.
1 x PC with 4 x tbs6985 tuners. running ubuntu.
1 x paid canel digital norwegian conax card.
1 x Vu+ ultimo
1 x TBS3102 5 Crystal Phoenix Card Reader

What I would like to do some how with the equipment i have if possible is this.

I would like to use the 4 x tbs6985 tuners to receive the channels and would like to decrpt the channels with the subscrtiption card i have. then i will be using DVBlast to stream the channels over my local lan using rtp to my IPTV STB in the rooms in my house.

Could you please tell me the best way to do this with the equpment i have and any software I would need.
I hate to ask so many questions but the more i read the more confused i get.
please just treat me like a baby. for example you need this this and this that will work or that wont work
