Hi TBS gurus,
Have anyone managed to get the tbs-6985 working with Dell R210 ii?
Also tested with tbs-6284 but the same, not working. unbuntu's kernel is 3.5.0.27 and 3.2.0.26.
TBS driver download page said "They've tested on kernel 3.7".
I exactly followed the instructions from the tbs documentation during the installation.
Can you guys please help me out?
Many thanks,
axion

Please send me the log file which below steps:
'dmesg' log after driver installation (if applicable, please see 1. too):
# dmesg >> dmesg_log
* log of 'lspci' output (only if you have PCI or PCI-Expreess card):
# lspci -vvnn >> lspci_log
Regards!

Got mine running fine on both 12.04 (3.2.0.40) & 12.04.2 (3.5.0.27)
From your lspci - no mention of SAA7160
from your dmesg - no pci:xxxx:xx:xx.x: [1131:7160] detection.
Looks like your motherboard isn't detecting/enabling the cards
Make sure bios is updated, and check for any weird pci or power management options in the bios.

Helo,
I have same issue, but with lspci I can see card:
01:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 02)
What can be a issue?
Thanks
