Linux driver support for newer kernels?

I need kernel > 4.13 to support my new Intel Coffelake I3 GPU, but the newest TBS drivers (v170330) are not working (compiling errors) on newer kernels (4.10 and up?)
I know that there are open source TBS drivers out there, but they are totally unstable and even unusable.
Can the proprietary/closed source linux drivers be updated please? Kernel 4.13 is out for more then a year now.
