Hi, I had a PCIE TBS6981 but it ended up been faulty and have sent it back for a refund, while waiting for the refund to be sorted i have read about the USB version and was wondering is it worth getting this or staying with the PCIe version?

A few question about the USB device:
How does it run compared to the PCIe version.
Does the USB case get hot after running for a time/loss of performance.
How many of the USB one could i run on one pc.
Will they work through a USB hub any performance issues.
Will the card reader work for all USB receivers installed.

Would people who have one recommend it?

A bit off topic will the card reader work with a valid sky card(UK)

Hi
about your answer here is my question
How does it run compared to the PCIe version.
there is no different ,the different is the interface one is USB and other is PCIe.

Does the USB case get hot after running for a time/loss of performance.
truly to see there is a little hot after running for a long time.

How many of the USB one could i run on one pc.
we have tried two USB and it is ok.

Will they work through a USB hub any performance issues.
USB hub 1.1 can not work, and about USB 2.0 we will have a test later.

Will the card reader work for all USB receivers installed.
card reader all is ok

Thanks
